Cricket World Cup final LIVE: Australia v England

Haynes starts in style

Batting certainly doesn’t look easy early on.

That was to be expected, given England sent Australia in after winning the toss.

But of the two openers, Haynes is the one with some recent runs on board against England.

Her career best of 130 came against the old enemy at the start of the tournament, and she clipped Anya Shrubsole off her pads for four runs to start her innings in style.

AUS 0-6 after two overs. Haynes 5 (7), Healy 1 (5).

The final teams for both sides

Australia: Alyssa Healy, Rachael Haynes, Meg Lanning (captain), Elysse Perry, Beth Mooney, Tahlia McGrath, Ashleigh Gardner, Jess Jonassen, Alana King, Megan Schutt, Darcie Brown.
