Lots of Aussies in the table tennis too…

We’ve also got a big day coming up in the para-table tennis.

Catch Aussie medallist Lina Lei in the women’s class 9 semifinals against Hungary’s Alexa Szvitacs at 1.20pm AEST.

Then Ma Lin is in the men’s class 9 against Ukraine’s Ivan Mai also at 1.20pm AEST.

Sam von Einem is up against Belgium’s Florian van Acker in the men’s class 11 at 2pm AEST while Qian Yang in the women’s class 10 at 2.40pm.

The gold medal match of the Class 9 Men’s Singles will be played 9:15pm – let’s hope we see Ma Lin in there!

If you haven’t had a chance to read about Ma Lin’s story as if yet – do so now. It’s one of the great stories of the Australian Paralympic team.

What to watch today

Hello – we’ve already won a medal!

Hi all, Sarah Keoghan here. Welcome to day four of our live coverage of the Paralympics.

GREAT news – we’ve already won a medal today! Jaryd Clifford has just claimed silver in the men’s 5000m T12.

What a way to start the day hey?

Our report Tom Decent, who is at the track in Tokyo writes: “Clifford came oh so close but had to settle for second. He had nothing in the tank at the end there. He clocked 14:35.52. Led at the bell with 400 to go but ran out of gas. A gallant effort.”

Up next, I’ll bring you the highlights of the day.
