Sporting ability makes an athlete, but it’s grit, determination, and mental clarity that make a champion. Australians may be familiar with the treadmill and bench press at their local gym, but mental fitness is perhaps not part of their usual workout regime.

To help people train their minds during this sporting season, in what has been a challenging climate, Toyota Australia has teamed up with respected meditation studio, The Broad Place – to create a virtual, limited-time-only Mental Fitness Bootcamp with online classes FREE for all Australians to participate on Sunday, 29 August 2021.

This unique bootcamp is designed by the experienced The Broad Place instructors and incorporates mind fitness optimizing tips from Toyota Ambassadors and athletes Jess Fox and Ryley Batt.

The Broad Place is one of Australia’s leading meditation studios that takes a modern approach to meditation. They offer practical tips to empower people to de-stress, find clarity and improve overall wellbeing in their daily life.

Jacqui Lewis, The Broad Place Founder, says mind fitness is equally as important as body fitness. “We’re excited to work with Toyota Australia and these incredible athletes to bring this unique mental fitness bootcamp to Australians. Similar to how people make a daily effort to take care of their body, mental fitness is just as important. • Session 1: 09.00am – 09.30am
• Session 2: 10.00am – 10.30am

Session Details:
• A virtual Mental Fitness class;
• The instructor will take you through an introduction, followed by a mind-optimizing meditation, a brain warm-up, and brain exercises.
